If you attend Orange City’s Tulip Festival this year and check out their two day “ArtBurst” fine art fair you just might see some artwork from Gary Oppedal. Gary creates his unique artwork (as seen on the right and below) with found objects to create texture and adds additional 3-D elements with sponges ground up with a coffee grinder and sticks that he forms to size. 

When asked why art is important to him Gary responds “I feel good when I am able to make something come to life. It is a way for me to express myself.” We wish Gary the best of luck with his submissions!
