As part of the “Sharing Success” program Hope Haven has recently received funds from CoBank and L&O Power Cooperative for a total of $5 000.  CoBank’s Sharing Success program doubles the contributions of its customers to the charitable organizations and causes they care about most. In 2020 many of our communities faced unprecedented challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In response CoBank expanded Sharing Success increasing the matching fund from $4 to $5 million. CoBank customers responded to these one-time changes enthusiastically. Hundreds of customers participated in the program contributing more than $5 million to charitable organizations across the country. Together with the CoBank match that’s more than $10 million returned to our communities to help those in need.

L&O Power Cooperative participated with $2 500 for Hope Haven – CoBank matching it with another $2 500 in funds. L & O Power Cooperative is a G&T cooperative formed in 1952 to bring wholesale electric power to the rural electric cooperatives in Lyon and Osceola Counties in northwest Iowa and Rock and Pipestone counties in southwest Minnesota. We are thankful to CoBank and L&O Power Cooperative for their generous contributions to Hope Haven.
