Hope Haven has received $970 from Buena Vista County Community Foundation. The funds will be utilized for digital cameras to be utilized at the Faith Hope & Charity Division in Storm Lake IA.  Faith Hope & Charity (FHC) is licensed as an ICF/ID home for children with unique needs ages 2-21. ICF/ID is a 24/hr total care service providing housing meals activities nursing recreation skill building community interaction and many other services needed by the children served.

The cameras will be utilized for capturing special moments or events in the child’s life (birthdays achievements etc.) that will be sent to family members and for photos that assist with and document programming. The camera will be used for programming as part of a photo communication system where children can learn to identify items expanding their knowledge base. Hope Haven is grateful to Buena Vista County Community Foundation for their generous support!
