Hope Haven has been awarded a $7 226 grant by the Lyon County Riverboat Foundation. The grant will provide Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for Hope Haven. The machines will be accessible to individuals supported with disabilities Hope Haven employees and visitors.

These medical devices are designed to analyze heart rhythm and deliver an electric shock to victims of ventricular fibrillation to restore the injured person’s heart rhythm to normal. Hope Haven is grateful to the Lyon County Riverboat Foundation for their generous support of these live-saving pieces of equipment.
