Meet Shelly. Shelly is a Community Living Direct Support Professional and has worked for Hope Haven for over 8 years.

What does she love about working at Hope Haven? “Spending time with my clients and watching them grow.”

When asked about the best benefit of working at Hope Haven Shelly responds “The friendships I have formed.” Also she is proud to work at Hope Haven because of “the impact that we have people’s lives and the things they accomplish.”

Shelly also shares that 40 years ago she won the Iowa State Basketball Championship as part of the Terril Tigerettes. She describes herself in these three words “caring fun & empathy”.
