Eight-year-old Jose Miguel has a diagnosis of Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bone Disease). This disease results in fragile bones that break easily. Because of this Jose has suffered multiple fractures in his young life. Jose’s family could not financially provide a wheelchair for him so he previously was carried around by family members.
