This holiday season Hope Haven’s My Day group in Spirit Lake is participating in the “Festival of Giving Trees” at the Iowa Great Lakes Mall. Each tree in this year’s festival will have a theme and can be decorated to go with that theme. For example a Canned Vegetable Tree Mac & Cheese Tree Cereal Tree and etc. The non-perishable food will be donated to help those in need.

The My Day group put together and is sponsoring a “SpaghettiOs & Ravioli Tree”. They’re asking for help in collecting donations of cans of SpaghettiOs and Ravioli from the community for the tree. If their tree receives the most donations they could receive a $200 prize for their favorite charity. Way to go Spirit Lake My Day!
