Meet Victor. Victor is a 12-year-old boy in Kenya with cerebral palsy and he recently received a wheelchair thanks to Hope Haven International Ministries and partnering organization Walkabout Foundation. Victor is described as an easygoing child who is willing to learn new things. His family is excited for his new wheelchair which will enable him to interact with the community building social skills and self-esteem. Additionally he looks forward to engaging in meaningful activities as he waits to join school. Victor’s wheelchair was customized and accommodated with raised footrests and an extension to the backrest. We hope you enjoy your new wheelchair Victor!
