This year’s Dessert Auction held on September 22 at the Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls  was a great success – with proceeds for the night totaling more than $30, 000. Funds raised will benefit Hope Haven International Ministries (HHIM) which delivers wheelchairs to those in desperate need of mobility around the world.

With 18 desserts available to bid on there was a huge variety of sweet treats to claim. The following businesses generously donated desserts and in-kind items for the auction:

The night also featured a special recognition for Karl’s TV Audio Appliances & Furniture with the Hope Haven International Ministries’ Pillar of Hope Award presented to Elmer Karl. For the past five years Karl’s TV Audio Appliances & Furniture has participated in HHIM Wheelchair Drive  that has collected hundreds of wheelchairs to be refurbished and delivered to people in need of mobility around the world.
